QUICK TIPS |

Begin by making sure the paper is loaded correctly. Once you are certain that the paper roll is loaded properly, try using the machine. If you have continued issues, refer to the Flowcharts section. Listed below is a short list of issues you may have with your printer.
- The Biomeasure II is not printing/ error: no paper.
- The paper cutter on the printer is closed or malfunctioning.
The Biomeasure is highly accurate, and comes pre-calibrated from the factory with certified heights and weights. There are some instances the machine might give an incorrect Height or Weight reading:
- The machine is not sitting level.
- Power the machine up, wait ten seconds to allow the machine to boot properly.
- It is essential that the person being measured stand up straight, directly underneath the sensor.
- The person being weighed must remain still.
- It is essential that the BIOMEASURE is not located near fluorescent lights. Fluorescent lights will interfere with the height sensor and can cause inaccurate readings.
If the machine needs to be calibrated, you must use a certified 1 M gage to verify the unit is measuring accurately. (To be purchased from Glenview Health Systems Inc.)
Here are some tips to make sure you get an accurate Body-fat reading:
- Using the hand sanitizer greatly increases conductivity, thus ensuring a more accurate reading.
- Make sure your arms are straight.
The machine will attempt to read the Body-fat three times. If the unit does not acquire a successful reading it will time out and print the ticket automatically. If you are having difficulty with Body-fat readings, consult the Flowcharts section.
Refer to the Flowcharts to change the date and time.
5. Change text on the printed ticket
Please refer to the owner's instructions manual.
- The Bill acceptor must be emptied as cash is collected. Once the unit is full, it will no longer function. The green arrows will be replaced with a flashing red light.
- Use the Flowcharts for other issues than the one listed above.
THE CARD IS NOT RECOGNIZED.
Make sure the chip is on the top side when you insert the card.
If after several attempts the problem persists, call Glenview Health Systems Inc. to make sure settings did not change in either the BIOMEASURE machine or the card itself.
TO RE-CHARGE A SMART CARD.
If you need to re-charge a Smart Card, feel free to contact a representative at Glenview Systems Inc.
ADD THE SMART CARD FEATURE TO YOUR BIOMEASURE.
If you would like to add the Smart Card feature on your BIOMEASURE machine, feel free to contact a representative from Glenview Health Systems Inc.
